  That Sassy, Succulent, Sex Siren of 50's & 60's Movies. Mamie whose real name was Joan Olander, certainly left her mark on those two decades of Blonde Bombshells.

   Johnny Grant, a celebrity columnist of that time and considered the "Mayor of Hollywood" by his constituents, once claimed "That when the 3 M's were cooking, (Monroe, Mansfield, Mamie) this town was really rocking."

  Mamie appeared only once along side Jayne Mansfield in a 1965 Movie "Las Vegas Hillbillies" a very poor film, shamefully geared to expose both Jayne & Mamie's assets and sex appeal. 

  I thought Mamie never looked sexier than her appearance in a 1959 film "Teacher's Pet" with Doris Day, Gig Young, and Clark Gable. She played Gable's saucy girlfriend night club dancer and entertainer. She performs an extremely sexy number while being ogled at by Young & Gable with Day sitting there prim & proper.

  We present Mamie this month in a guest appearance with a few terrific photos for your viewing pleasure and purchase. If all goes well, maybe she will have a permanent spot in our store like June Wilkinson became last month. It's up to you !!

June "The Bosom" Wilkinson

That phenomenal physique of a body- with a chest to match Brit- from across the pond in England. She was nicknamed "The Bosom" by the British Press in the early 1950's for obvious reasons. Her many appearances in the British Dailys were legendary. Hugh Hefner also had her on one of his Playboy TV Shows in the early 60's balancing a cocktail on that magnificent chest. She went on to make a few cult movies and was still making personal appearances at signing shows in the 1990's. 

    So, here she is for your viewing and purchasing pleasure. She's our featured attraction in my store this week, so go get an eyeful !
